A Touch of Mint

Good day! Today's post is a long time coming.. I first mentioned collecting these precious little brass candlesticks in November and since then I have collected enough and finally painted them with "a touch of mint"! I absolutely love how they turned out and I look forward to changing them up if I ever feel the need to. With a mint Anthropologie pillow and a few more succulents our living room is a bit brighter and more colorful. Check it out for yourself! 

I used a small paintbrush and a small sample size of  Sea Lilly by Vaspar. Total project with paint, brush and candlesticks = $19

A Berry Happy Birthday!

Happy Wednesday Friends! So in life and in business it's important to make goals. I pretty much make a different goal everday, even if it's just as trivial as making it to the gym or drinking 3 bottles of water before lunch. Goals help us make our lives more meaningful and encouraging yourself is key to happiness. I encourge myself as much as I can and today more than most. If you don't know I really really really love birthdays. So on my own birthday I build it up for months and months and get super excited. How am I spending it this year? HR trainings. How's my twin spending it? At Sea World with my parents. Adult life is really the worst! I wish him the very best of days even though we have to share it every year :)

So my list of goals for this year is long but a small one I made a few months back was to hit 200 etsy sales by my big day. I am currently at 198 as of this morning and so excited to hopefully reach this goal today! It's these little steps as a small business owner that are so important to help keep momentum going.

Wedding Feature Wednesday - An Orr Deal

Another Wedding Wednesday! This lovely bride just happens to be one of my best friends and I had the honor to design her wedding program and other signs for her fabulous navy, silver and cream wedding!

Courtney and Riley got married at McDermott Road Church of Christ and had their reception at the Heritage Ranch Country Club.

Wedding Feature Wednesday

I have had the pleasure of designing invitations, programs and save the dates for so many brides this past year. So I thought it would be a fun little project to feature these fabulous weddings and brides here and show the variety of fun wedding paper goods I've been able to work on! 

This week's feature is the fabulous wedding of Tori and Matt Sypert here in Lubbock. They got married on Texas Tech's campus in October and it was definitely a night to remember! ( & her dress is to die for! )
