Spring Break 2014!

Anyone else tired of the 80 vs. 30 degree weather these days?? We are going stir crazy here in Lubbock and the only light at the end of the cold tunnel is our upcoming trip to the beach! Every year spring break comes at the perfect time when I am tired, cold and cranky. Luckily most of my spring breaks I have been whisked away to the sunshine and this year is no exception! In 2011 I was in San Diego, in 2012 we went on a girls trip to Destin, this past year was a family trip to Disney World, and this year a couples trip to Port Aransas! We couldn't be more excited to go on a trip with some of our new couple friends and spend a few days lounging and sun bathing! See below for some of my beach must-haves and what I am dying to take!

Presenting The Greatest Baby Shower On Earth!

This past Sunday I had the privilege of hostessing a fabulous shower for my friend Tania and her precious little boys. We went with a "vintage circus" theme and it turned out greater than I imagined! It was incredible to see how many people came out to support Tania and Brady and shower them with love - over 100 ladies! So with lions, and tigers and bears the shower was a show-stopper!

Love you Tania and little boys! So excited to meet yall! 

An Etsy Valentine's Day

As you know - I have an etsy shop. I don't think etsy is amazing because I use it for my small business - I think it's amazing because of the incredibly unique items and talent you can find. I am the first one to say that I am no where near having perfected my brand presence on etsy, and what inspires me to get closer to that goal is visiting other shops and seeing how they portray their art and products in such an engaging and interesting way.

 Another reason why I love etsy is that you know the money you are spending is going to a person - a person just like you and me who has a dreams and goals. That person get's excited and jumps for joy every time they make a sale, I know the feeling! And when an etsy product arrives on your doorstep in it's precious hand crafted packaging, you jump for joy too.
