Campbell's Nursery

Well... it's probably about time to post this sweet boys nursery! As soon as we found out it was a boy I knew the nursery theme had to be puppies. Have you ever searched for puppy nurseries though? They are very baby blue, cheesy blankets, and paw print pillows. So I had to come up with an inspiration board that the keywords were: Ralph Lauren, brass ducks, velvet, hunting, dogs, and leather. I loved that it drew out those words - it actually helped with my vision! SO if you were to ask me what my nursery theme was it was not puppies - it was "well if Ralph Lauren liked to hunt and had dogs, and was having a baby" or something along those lines. It was also described occasionally as a "baby's whiskey lounge." Isn't that the vision you want when you're breastfeeding?

Favorite Things Brunch 2018

Happy Holidays! So excited to share my 2018 Favorite Little Things Brunch with you. This is the 6TH YEAR of this party and it's just so fun to see new friends and old friends that can come every year.

I loved sending my invites again from Paperless Post - it's so easy to design and then track people that can attend! The best thing is since this is different that a normal party I can send out information and instructions about how the gift exchange works and answer questions all through the site! Check out the invite (and cute background!) below!

This year's theme was "A Blue Christmas" with touches of light blue with my favorite Cru china and a table runner and cards from Draper James. We had an amazing spread of brunch items (the chicken meatballs from Trader Joe's were a favorite!) and then played games and exchanged gifts. Some of the favorite gifts this year were fun velvet scrunchies, face masks, and of course favorite soaps and candles!
